1. Avoid Excess Moisture

Paste-the-paper wallpapers are not waterproof. Avoid installing them in areas with high humidity or direct contact with water, such as bathrooms with poor ventilation or near kitchen sinks.

2. Clean Gently

Dust your wallpaper regularly with a soft, dry cloth or a feather duster. If needed, gently wipe with a damp sponge using water only. Avoid harsh cleaners, detergents, or scrubbing tools that could damage the surface.

3. Handle with Clean Hands

Wallpaper can absorb oils and dirt from your hands. Always wash and dry your hands before touching or cleaning the wallpaper.

4. Protect from Direct Sunlight

Extended exposure to direct sunlight can cause fading over time. Consider installing blinds or curtains to help reduce UV exposure and preserve the colours.

5. Watch for Peeling Edges

Chapter III invites you on a lyrical journey into India’s heartland. Born from stillness and reflection, Heartland revives stories that glow with beauty, hope, and optimism. Colours act like musical notes, from Persian Sea blue to Suleiman Rose pink, chosen with painterly grace to transform any room.

The collection unfolds through three pattern stories: Baug, Udeepore, and Indienne. Each design echoes the ateliers of Vrindavan, the master painters of Murshidabad, the delicate prints of Coromandel textiles, and the grand architecture of India’s palaces. Handcrafted by the artists of the Sabyasachi Art Foundation, these wallpapers invite you to layer, define, and create interiors that feel timeless and unforgettable.

Installation Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Surface

Start with a clean, dry, and smooth surface. Remove any dust, grease, old wallpaper, or loose paint. Repair any cracks or holes for an even base.

Step 2: Prime the Wall

Apply a suitable primer to seal the wall and ensure even adhesion. This helps the wallpaper go on smoothly and stay in place over time.

Step 3: Measure and Plan

Use a level and measuring tape to mark vertical guidelines. This helps align the wallpaper accurately and prevents any shifting as you work.

Step 4: Apply Adhesive

Apply adhesive as required (either to the wallpaper or the wall, depending on the material). Carefully hang the wallpaper panel by panel, smoothing out air bubbles with a brush or plastic smoother.

Step 5: Trim and Finish

Trim any excess wallpaper at the edges using a sharp blade. Wipe away any adhesive residue with a damp sponge and allow the wallpaper to dry fully before placing furniture back.
